Today we will be discussing the KYC which is short for Know Your Customer and why you must complete it to receive Naira. Firstly KYC is required by law, it is expected that every Fintech app or service does identity verification.

KYC is the process of verifying each customer's identity. This process is done by a licensed third party. They use your BVN (biometric verification number) to confirm that you are who you say you are. This validation process limits fraud and money laundering.

To complete your KYC on Mavapay, once you sign up you will be asked to complete identity verification. The process takes only a few minutes, we will notify you with an email once your KYC process is verified.
